Revealing Thoughts on The Canon PowerShot SX110IS

!±8± Revealing Thoughts on The Canon PowerShot SX110IS

The Canon was that I searched for a full month. All I wanted was a camera point-and-shoot that was not too expensive (something in the range of $ 250 or less) have an occasional need for my photography. Originally, I wanted something light and ultra-portable, a camera that I remember in my pocket without it, so I can use it when I carry around is not my SLR with me, but I could not help it when I saw this model and I decided to buy it.

What specificallyattracted me was the huge 10x optical zoom, you will not find in a lot of cameras in this segment, and the chip image stabilization that is not so often in the low-end cameras.

After the first few weeks of use, the overall experience is good. Let me get some important points.

In Auto ISO 200, which is obviously not the best shot, you need to retouch photos in Photoshop to remove noise. If you own a camera, if you are notOutdoors in the late evening, so it is advisable to exit the programming mode and set ISO 80, in order to obtain better results.

Speaking of dim light, unless you are shooting still subject, or you can rely on your camera against something solid, like a bar, wall or pole, you must use the flash, or out of your picture will be blurred. The focus can be annoying at times slow in low light conditions, and can not afford to wait a few seconds if you want to perpetuate an openThe scene.

The quality of the video clip is great, much better than other Cyber-shot that I tried. The only drawback is that you can not use the optical zoom during filming, only the digital zoom function.

The 3 inch screen is great. It comes with a high resolution, and my favorite, has detached from the camera, allowing you to maneuver the camera better. On-screen-rotation of images is also one of my favorite features, not by tilting the camera 90 degrees toportrait shot. Macro mode works great, I would say better than with other similar models, the depth and quality of details is simply breath-taking.

I wouldn't advise getting a Canon PowerShot SX110IS for occasional photos. There are smaller, lighter and faster models that would fit you better. However, if you want great results with a low-end point-and-shoot gadget, then this one is for you!
